First contact has been made. Humanity has been searching for over half a millennium for intelligent life forms beyond Sol. It turns out they found us and have been in contact for some time. The UTC has hidden this from the general public up unto the point it can no longer be hidden.
For decades a great ship, The Magellan Argosy, has been under construction. A joint effort between the UTC and the Gaonz of the Leviathan World, Grivantia, it is the most massive structure ever built. Now the government of United Sol has announced it will select a crew and send them on humanity's first deep space mission. It's objective, with the assistance of the Gaonz and their advanced technology, will be to seed the galaxy with Terran life. But all is not as it seems and a young man from Terra holds the key.
