Within the Constellation Taurus, beyond the outer rim of the Milky Way, lies the galactic globular cluster, RiqˇDas. 50,000ly in diameter, it has become the primary focus for study in the 26th century. Beyond the orbit of Mars, three of the most powerful interferometric telescopes yet devised train intensely on the strange cluster filled with ancient stars. Coherent emissions are detected in a trinary system near the outer edge.
